To strengthen its team, the School of Health of HES-SO Valais-Wallis is announcing a position for its Nursing program and its Health Institute: Professor in Nursing with a focus on acute care (minimum 80%).Your mission:- Acquire, conduct, and develop research activities in the field of nursing.- Assume teaching responsibilities, particularly concerning acute care, research methodology, and leadership.- Contribute to the development of innovative and continuous education designed to meet the needs of professionals.- Be responsible for one or more modules for basic and continuing education, particularly in acute care, and ensure the transfer of knowledge from research to both basic and continuing education as well as to professional environments.- Contribute to the academic excellence of the School of Health at regional and national levels.Profile:- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with experience in the health field.- Research skills in healthcare.- At least 5 years of professional experience, particularly in nursing.- Knowledge of local professional and institutional policy and sustainability would be an asset.- Strong willingness to integrate French proficiency with good knowledge of a second language (German).- Spoken and written English at a professional level is desirable.Activity rate: 80% in Sion.Starting date: Mrs. Anne-Sylvaine Héritier, co-responsible for the Nursing program, will provide any requested information about the job description.
