The Hospitality Business School Operations department at EHL Hospitality Business School ensures the seamless functioning of campus services and academic support. It manages logistics, facilities, and administrative processes to enhance the student and faculty experience. By coordinating daily operations and supporting academic delivery, the department upholds EHL’s commitment to excellence. Learning Coach
The mission of the Learning Coach is to develop personalized learning strategies, study techniques, and plans tailored to students’ academic and professional goals. The Learning Coach assesses and addresses students’ learning needs by identifying academic challenges, leveraging individual strengths, and aligning support with their career aspirations. Through expert guidance on learning strategies adapted to diverse learner profiles, the Learning Coach enhances academic success and fosters long-term growth.
What will you do?
- Identify core personal and professional skills needed at different stages of the student journey, fostering self-directed learning, autonomy in their studies, critical analysis, and problem-solving.
- Guide students in developing analytical thinking, implement learning techniques and overcome academic challenges.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to track progress and measure the effectiveness of learning strategies.
- Monitor students' academic performance, seek insights, and adjust/refine learning plans based on data-driven insights.
- Provide structure guidance how to establish and maintain productive study groups.
- In collaboration with the Academic Office develop vision of inclusive learning support by forming a dedicated working group and communication channels.
- Deliver individual and group coaching sessions, and workshops for students.
- Working closely with the EHL coaching team and develop access to learning strategy support for our students.
Who you are?
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in either Management, Hospitality, Education and Psychology, or a related field.
- You have more than 3-5 years of professional experience in learning and development, academic coaching, or student support, ideally within higher education or adult learning environments.
- You are a certified coach (ICF, EMCC, or equivalent) with experience in learning strategies, motivation, and inclusive learning approaches.
- You have experience in learning and development for adults and young adults.
- You have a strong understanding of learning processes and challenges faced by diverse learner profiles, and are able to design personalized study and development plans.
- You demonstrate strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to engage individuals and groups in self-directed learning and growth.
- You are comfortable using learning analytics and digital tools (, LMS platforms, dashboards, assessments) to track progress and inform learning interventions.
- You work collaboratively across departments, fostering productive relationships with faculty, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- You show empathy, curiosity, and adaptability in guiding students through academic and personal challenges.
- You are fluent in English (C1), French is a plus.
