Job Description
Reporting to the Management, you will act as a cross-functional legal referent for all group companies; you will support teams on legal, regulatory and insurance issues, while ensuring compliance with internal practices and data protection.
Your main responsibilities
- Advice and case management in labour law and social insurance law
- Management of issues related to tenancy law (drafting, analysing and monitoring contracts)
- Intervention in commercial law / business law: concession contracts, supplier and partnership contracts; updating general terms and conditions of sale and use; protection of the group’s brand intellectual property
- Management and optimisation of the group’s insurance portfolio (health, accident, vehicles, etc.), including claims handling and contract monitoring
- Performing the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO): ensuring compliance and supervising the application of data protection legislation (employees, clients, etc.)
- Legal support for all group companies
- Handling legal matters related to other minority holdings of the Holding (due diligence, investment structuring, share purchase and sale agreements, etc.)
- Dispute management and resolution (leading and coordinating judicial and arbitration proceedings)
- Legal secretariat and annual documents: preparation and coordination of official meetings, as well as drafting documents required under the governance obligations of the group companies (ordinary/extraordinary general meetings, etc.)
- Legal monitoring: ensuring regulatory watch and guaranteeing the company’s compliance with identified developments
Profile sought
- Higher legal education (Bachelor or Master in law or equivalent)
- At least 10 years’ experience in a generalist legal role, ideally in a group environment
- Excellent knowledge of Swiss labour law, social insurance, commercial law and data protection
- Fluent French and English essential, German highly desirable
- Very good command of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Comfortable with technological tools, notably artificial intelligence tools applied to legal work
- Analytical mind, autonomy, rigour and sense of confidentiality
