Job Description: The Junior Risk Officer role is a member of the risk team, leading and delivering PnL and position analysis to Management and Front Office. The role reports to the Risk Manager. Main Responsabilities Manage daily production and reporting of P&L , positions/exposures from trading system(s), PnL attribution Manage daily checks and trade integrity completeness between desks and trading system Build & monitor in-house forward curves, check accuracy and consistency of forward curves vs market values Daily pricing exposure reconciliation with trading and operations In collaboration with Risk apply reserving methodology to trading P&L Month end and year end reconciliations and reporting Liaise closely with IT, Trade Support team, Operations, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Central Finance, and Front Office. Responsible for monthly translation into accounting of trading results Support in improving information sharing tools to enhance information flow to the the traders. Prepare various reports and analysis for publishing internally and to the Management Board as the case may be Back up / support for other desk’s Risk officers as the case may be ETRM improvements flagging Profile Minimum 1 year in a similar role in the commodity trading business, preferably within a major trading house, an oil major, investment bank or hedge found Curious and proactive, rigorous and meticulous Knowledge of analytics tools and technologies. Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Python Eagerness to learn Strong entrepreneurial spirit, naturally curious and proactive Excellent attention to detail; rigorous and meticulous Strong interpersonal skills High degree of accuracy and efficiency under set deadlines Fluent in English, both written and spoken, French is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Knowledge of quantitative risk analysis is a plus
