What you will do
- You prepare and conduct actuarial analyses, including loss projections and technical reserves calculations under IFRS17 for both gross and reinsurance layers within Commercial Insurance.
- You ensure smooth collaboration within the Actuarial CoE and interact closely with stakeholders from other functions.
- You coordinate with Finance and Accounting to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of balance sheet and profit and loss statements.
- You provide insights on performance and business implications to Finance, business functions, and Reserving Actuaries, and conduct in-depth reserving analyses on specific portfolios.
- You participate in the automation and continuous improvement of reserving and financial reporting processes within the Actuarial CoE.
What you bring
- University degree in mathematics, actuarial sciences, or a related field and willingness to pursue an actuarial qualification
- Initial experience with reserving methods is an advantage
- Strong data management and programming skills (e.g. Python, VBA, R) are a plus
- Team player mindset with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a positive attitude
- Fluency in German and English, other languages are an advantage
