Jewellery Development Constructor (M/F)
6-month fixed-term contract | September 2026 to February 2027 | La Chaux-de-Fonds region
Your mission
Within the Product Development team, you ensure the design and construction of jewellery pieces by guaranteeing their technical and industrial feasibility, while respecting the aesthetic, qualitative, and economic requirements of the projects.
A true partner to project managers, development teams, and manufacturing workshops, you actively contribute to the realisation of high value-added products intended for a demanding environment where excellence is the standard.
Your responsibilities
Development and construction of jewellery products
- Design and construct jewellery products taking into account technical, aesthetic, and industrial constraints.
- Ensure the feasibility of developments in close collaboration with the company’s various departments.
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of construction schedules in connection with project managers.
- Create and update technical drawings as well as associated documentation.
- Monitor modifications and technical evolutions of products.
Innovation and continuous improvement
- Actively participate in product development meetings.
- Be proactive in improving and optimising existing concepts.
- Maintain ongoing technological watch to identify new technical solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of design standards and the internal technical reference framework.
Technical support and cross-functional collaboration
- Provide your technical expertise during feasibility studies and price offers.
- Collaborate closely with the Development, Industrialisation, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Logistics departments.
- Participate in technical exchanges with suppliers and external partners.
- Contribute to finding the best compromise between innovation, quality, costs, and deadlines.
Your profile
- Higher technical education (ES, ET, HES or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a jewellery or watch casing environment.
- Excellent mastery of 3D design; knowledge of SolidWorks is essential.
- Good understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.
- Keen eye for detail and aesthetic requirements.
- Rigor, organisation, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Initiative, autonomy, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
