Recognized as an expert in skills under the Law on Specialized Education, the CPHV promotes the inclusion of individuals with visual impairments in the Romandy region. It is part of the Blind Asylum, founded in Lausanne, which includes the Jules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital in Lausanne, the low vision and social service, the research center for vision sciences, and the EMS Clair-Soleil in Ecublens, a medically and socially adapted establishment for seniors. 670 individuals mobilize daily to provide visual health services to offer diagnostic, treatment, and support for individuals in their path. To complete our team, we are looking for a Mobile Specialized Teacher.Your mission:- Ensure and provide access to adapted pedagogical resources from 1st to 11th grade, supported by a transcription service: enlargements, documents, or in braille.- Encourage and promote the use of these resources.- Work closely with class teachers.- Keep a logbook and establish an annual report for each student.- Participate in the network involving professionals from regular schools and various specialists (occupational therapists, mobility specialists, activities of daily living, functional vision, ophthalmologists, and support for teachers).Your qualifications:- Expertise in specialized education (acquired or in progress); obtaining a Master’s degree is required for initial teaching practice (HEP), specialized (HES), or a Master’s in pedagogy or psychology, followed by supplementary training leading to the specialized teaching diploma (recognized by the Conference of Directors of Public Instruction – CDIP) from HEP.- Willingness to develop and update specific professional knowledge and skills necessary for your role through continuing education.- Proficiency with standard tools.- Sense of responsibility and ability to manage complex situations.- Enjoyment in collaborating with professionals from diverse backgrounds.- Professional ethics.- Language: French.- Good knowledge of educational subjects.We offer:A dynamic, rich, and varied work environment.
