What you will do

  • Lead the planning, forecasting and reporting of net investment income (NII) and investment expenses for Business Unit Switzerland (incl. Orion and Foreign Business as well as CI EMEA and ZGEBS). Deliver meaningful analyses on NII and expense developments, translating complex financial movements into clear insights for senior management
  • Run NII simulations and sensitivity scenarios, highlighting key market, portfolio and interest-rate impacts
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy and IFRS alignment across systems and sources through structured checks and reconciliations
  • Collaborate closely with Local Finance, Group Finance and Investment teams, fostering transparency and  shared understanding
  • Support the tied-asset coverage process, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal governance standards
  • Strengthen cost-control and expense-management processes, including fee controlling for IMS
  • Prepare high-quality analyses and presentations for Tied Asset Committees (ZIC, ZLIC) and ALMICs
  • Contribute to IMS projects and cross-functional initiatives, using your analytical expertise to enhance processes, controls and reporting
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests and act as a trusted partner for investment-related controlling and reporting topics

 

What you bring

  • A completed education in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
  • 2-6 years of relevant experience in controlling, accounting, risk management or investment/asset management, ideally in a regulated financial or insurance environment
  • Strong understanding of controlling, accounting principles, financial instruments and regulatory frameworks (ideally including Swiss tied-asset principles)
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn data and financial movements into clear recommendations
  • A proactive, curious mindset with the drive to challenge, simplify and improve processes and reporting flows.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data models, automation or BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in German and English and confidence in working with diverse stakeholders, including senior management
