We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic early-stage researcher to join our Field-Assisted Biofabrication lab at the AO Research Institute in Davos. Our lab focuses on developing and exploring extrinsic field-based biofabrication and bioassembly technologies, based on hydrodynamic waves, magnetic fields, and light-based methods, for tissue modelling and regeneration.
Main Responsibilities
Key Areas of Focus:
- Biofabrication and bioassembly technologies
- Stimuli-responsive materials for tissue regeneration
- In vitro multicellular modelling
Main Requirements
- MSc in Mech / Electric / Biomed Engineering, Biophysics, or related fields
- Experience in cell imaging, and data analysis is highly desirable
- Maker mindset, enthusiastic about building, prototyping, and experimenting with new tech developments
- Preferred Starting Date: January - February 2026
