Within our international motor vehicle claims service division – Swiss Interclaims & material damage – you defend the interests of Zurich’s customers, as well as those of foreign companies we represent in Switzerland. Furthermore, you act on behalf of the Swiss National Insurance Bureau (BNA) as an information body, as well as the National Guarantee Fund (FNG), which manages damages caused by unknown or uninsured vehicles.

This position requires solid knowledge of motor vehicle claims and great ease in communicating with injured parties and foreign companies from the following countries: France, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Belgium, as well as some North African countries.

What you do

• You manage Casco collision recourse claims with foreign insurance companies and ensure a swift and effective resolution of cases.
• You handle cases for the FNG in accordance with Article 76 of the Road Traffic Act, taking charge of accidents caused by unknown or uninsured vehicles or cycles.
• You manage cases for the BNA as the Swiss representative of a foreign insurance company, ensuring the satisfaction of all parties involved.
• You process identification requests from foreign insurers based on licence plates or green card numbers.
• You handle complex claims, including bodily injuries, liability sharing, vehicle thefts, cases involving boats, as well as exchanges with legal protection insurers.

What you bring

• AFA training, commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in motor vehicle claims, with expertise in managing complex cases.
• Excellent ability to manage priorities, with great rigour and a strong customer service orientation.
• Impeccable integrity, combined with punctuality, reliability and a decidedly positive attitude.
• Fluency in French, as well as good knowledge of German and English, enabling effective communication with international partners.
