The position is within the gynecology and obstetrics services of the department of women, children, and adolescents, whose mission is to offer quality care tailored to the needs of women at every stage of their lives, as well as to address the health issues faced by newborns, children, and adolescents from birth to the age of 16. For many years, the department has been developing cutting-edge care and centers of expertise in various specialties. The gynecology service of HUG is one of the most important, encompassing numerous specialties, including oncology, perineology, and reproductive medicine. The service also provides specialized care related to ovaries and female genitalia. It takes care of women who are victims of aggression and violence, or who seek gynecological control, contraception, or pregnancy termination. Our breast center and our endometriosis center are accredited, guaranteeing multidisciplinary, comprehensive, and quality care. Medical and nursing teams follow women, girls, and adolescents throughout their reproductive lives, during and after menopause, ensuring maximum safety and respecting privacy and values. To provide the best care in women's health, it relies on efficient emergency services, state-of-the-art equipment, interdisciplinary care, and direct access for monitoring and management of pregnancies up to delivery. The obstetrics service is the reference center in the region for high-risk pregnancies and perinatal medicine. It collaborates closely with the unit where approximately 500 newborns are hospitalized each year, and teams provide care and close monitoring 24/7. Our gynecology and obstetrics services are looking for several internal physicians who wish to evolve in a stimulating university environment, within a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the training of physicians in the context of various rotations. You will be required to work within the different units of the obstetrics service as well as in the gynecological outpatient clinic and gynecological-obstetric emergencies. As part of your duties, you will ensure the quality of medical care in the units of care in your area of expertise. Your sense of responsibility and your ability to work effectively will enable you to enforce rules and procedures. You hold the medical diploma X or an equivalent title recognized by the Federal Medical Professions Commission (MEBEKO). You have two years of experience in gynecology and obstetrics services.
