Job Description

We are looking, for the 'IS Management and Business Relationship' Directorate of the General Directorate of Digital and Information Systems (DGNSI), for a Manager of the Business Information System for School IT Management and the Business Information System for Cultural Affairs.

Responsibilities

  • Under the responsibility of the business relationship manager (RM), define the vision and strategy for the evolution of the business IS to meet the strategic and operational challenges of the beneficiary services and the institutions concerned.

  • Support beneficiary services in their business or technological monitoring with their partners: Confederation, other cantons, etc.

  • Plan, initiate and supervise the evolutions of the business IS.

  • Document the business IS repository (process, functional, application).

  • Participate in the management of the "IS Management and Business Relationship" domain.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing and leading IT projects. Management of several important (or complex) projects in a similar environment (public administration or large company).

  • Master's degree in information systems or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience in information systems urbanisation. Having carried out projects such as process modelling and optimisation, or the development of information systems master plans.

  • Experience, or failing that a strong interest, in the field of education and training in Switzerland, as well as an awareness of the functioning of public or semi-public institutions.

  • Technical and infrastructure knowledge is a strong asset.

  • Stress resistance, patience and pedagogy.

  • Rigor, autonomy and precision in work (documentation, monitoring, reporting, planning).

Special on-call duties:

  • May be required to work outside normal working hours (night, Saturday, Sunday or public holiday)

  • Residence in Switzerland
