Industrial Performance Engineer
As part of the role, the Industrial Performance Engineer supports the Industrial Management in cross-industrial projects. They analyse and lead the improvement of the performance of production lines to optimise productivity and the efficiency of the production tool. They work for the group companies in Switzerland, from La Chaux-de-Fonds to Boécourt.
Main Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse the industrial needs of the different sites to define appropriate performance objectives
- Ensure product stability and reliability through action plans and monitoring improvements
- Standardise processes and disseminate best practices between sites
- Identify and manage improvement and industrialisation areas in collaboration with production
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects and ensure on-site follow-up
- Support teams in deploying Lean Manufacturing tools
- Define, monitor and analyse performance indicators (KPIs)
- Identify non-conformities, implement corrective actions and guarantee process robustness
- Participate in the development and optimisation of industrialisation methods
- Analyse production means and ensure technological watch
- Conduct internal audits in collaboration with the Quality department
Profile Sought
- Engineering degree or ES Technician (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with complex products/processes
- Mastery of Lean Manufacturing tools
- Knowledge of machining (an asset)
- Excellent command of French required (spoken and written).
A hands-on profile, autonomous and with a good team spirit, you know how to communicate and unite effectively. Analytical and solution-oriented, you demonstrate rigour, organisation, responsiveness and adaptability.
