Description
We are searching for an Industrial Engineer (f/m/x) to join a leading industrial manufacturer at their Bulle site.
Responsibilities
Analyzing, planning, and optimizing production and business processes to boost efficiency and quality
Managing investment, industrialization, and optimization projects—from requirements definition through commissioning
Introducing and deploying lean management methods and CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) initiatives
Conducting layout, material flow, and routing studies and overseeing their implementation
Defining, monitoring, and interpreting key performance indicators for process control and continuous improvement
Supporting the rollout of new technologies and production systems
Collaborating closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and other cross‑functional teams
Training and coaching operators and team leaders on new processes and standards
Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure technical alignment throughout project execution
Leading workshops (e.g. SMED, 5S) and developing decision‑making frameworks with actionable recommendations
Performing technology screenings, benchmarking analyses, and researching advanced manufacturing trends
Profile
University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline
Proven experience in project management, ideally as a lead on investment and optimization initiatives
Solid background in production technologies such as machining, automation, assembly, or testing
Strong understanding of interdisciplinary processes and the ability to work collaboratively across functions
Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a results‑oriented mindset
Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken); French is a plus
Willingness to travel up to 15% annually (primarily within Europe)
