The Haute École Arc Ingénierie group of competencies Horological Engineering is announcing the position of Assistant HES 100% (fixed-term contract for 3 years). Your activity:Directly subordinate to the head of the group, you will participate in various applied research and development projects (Ra&D) conducted within the Horological Engineering group. You will work with regional industrial partners in the fields of research and the development of new processes for analysis and processes in horology, the design of horological components, and the development of tools for watch functions. You will closely collaborate with a competent and interdisciplinary team of engineers in a stimulating work environment. You will also be required to participate in the operation of the group or to assist professors in their tasks.Profile:You hold a degree considered equivalent and have good knowledge in the design and development of microtechnical horological systems, as well as in mastering their processes. In particular, you have knowledge in horological design and processes of components as well as in the design of watch casings. You master the design of horological components. You are capable of working independently on a variety of tasks.
