To strengthen our "Health, Safety and Environment-Sustainability" team in Villars-sur-Glâne, and to succeed the current Manager who will retire at the end of May 2027, we are looking for a Health, Safety and Environment-Sustainability Manager (M/F)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Ensure the coordination and integration of occupational safety, health protection and environment - sustainability across all company sites, including fire protection and security
• Manage a team of specialists directly and/or functionally
• Improve the company’s occupational health and safety, environment and sustainability policy and ensure its implementation and application on all sites
• Enhance management concepts and systems in line with current standards (MSST guidelines, ISO 14001, fire protection, security in collaboration with quality)
• Advise, train and support management, supervisors and employees in implementing objectives in the field
• Manage projects directly related to the area
• Organise and oversee emergency management: fire, environment, personal accident and security

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in a technical field, ideally complemented by safety officer training - STPS specialist or CFST Safety Engineer / STPS Expert or willing to train later if necessary
• Proven experience of at least 5 to 7 years in a similar role in an industrial company (in the food industry is an advantage), with team management
• Training and/or advanced knowledge in security and fire protection. Knowledge of chemicals is an asset
• Experience in crisis and emergency management and in leading groups and training sessions
• Fluent oral and written French (C1) with ideally some knowledge of German. English is a plus
• Category B driving licence
• Comfortable both in the field and with administrative work
• Rigorous personality with natural leadership and good communication skills, autonomous and highly responsible
