Who are we? The Cantonal Tax Service (SCC) is responsible for the assessment and collection of cantonal taxes and federal direct taxes for individuals and legal entities. Following the retirement of one of its executives, the SCC is looking for a head of the “special” section, which includes the areas of real estate gains, capital gains tax, property tax, and withholding tax. To learn more, follow this Missions Member of the SCC management Leading the section comprising the aforementioned 4 areas Supporting sector heads in complex tax cases Responsible for the system X business areas of your section Processing requests for preliminary rulings (particularly regarding partial indirect/direct tax, transposition, transfers of quasi-mergers, “taxation according to expenditure” files) Continuous control of work and risks Ensuring uniform X and fiscal compliance Engaging in the management, leadership, and recruitment of internal talent while coordinating external efforts As a member of the SCC management, you actively participate in managing its affairs and contribute to its development as well as to its desired implementation.Desired Profile: - Expert in taxation and university graduate or HEG or equivalent - Extensive knowledge in areas of taxation applicable to the SCC, especially cantonal direct tax, federal direct tax, real estate taxation, capital gains tax. Knowledge of inheritance tax and tax policy is a plus - Several years of experience in leading a team - Strong leadership and professional and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in French or German with very good knowledge of the other language.
