The SKJV supports the cantons in the initial and continuing education of personnel, offers educational opportunities for incarcerated adults, and contributes to the further development and professionalization of the Swiss penal system through technical expertise, practice-oriented analyses, and networking.Due to the upcoming retirement of the current Head of Education for Penal Personnel, we are looking for a:Head of Education for Penal PersonnelMember of the Executive BoardYour Tasks- Management of the Education for Penal Personnel division, including responsibility for budget and personnel- Further development and provision of impetus for programs, training structures, and digital educational offerings to strengthen the penal system in a practice-oriented and future-oriented manner- Establishment and maintenance of networks with educational institutions and partners; occasional cooperation with specialized institutions- Participation in politically relevant dialogues with cantons, the federal government, specialized institutions, and stakeholders to coordinate educational and development projects- Management of a team of specialists and promotion of a high-performing, team-oriented, and future-oriented culture in coordination with other divisions- Technical preparation of topics for the Executive Board and representation of the division in relevant expert committees- Participation in the overall development of the organization with the Executive BoardYour Profile- Completed university degree (Master's or equivalent) as well as further education at the post-master's level in the field of education or comparable tasks- Several years of management and leadership experience in a demanding environment- Expertise in educational issues, training systems, or the development of educational programs- Digital affinity and experience with digital educational formats- Knowledge of the Swiss penal system and its federalist structures or willingness to familiarize oneself with them quickly- Experience in the public sector or in a semi-public or politically influenced environment- Experience in stakeholder management and networking- Ability to constructively connect different interests and develop viable solutions- High integrity, strong sense of responsibility, and a reflected understanding of leadership- Very good knowledge of German and French; knowledge of Italian is an advantageWe Offer- A responsible leadership position of strategic relevance- Scope for design within a clearly defined mandate- An engaged team and professional structures- The opportunity to actively shape educational processes, digital offerings, and strategies, and thus support the cantons in the further development of the Swiss penal systemContactFor further information, please contact the current position holder or the Director.Are you interested?
