Our Energy business unit's mission is to optimise all energy production and management activities, notably renewable energy production with sources including biomass, wind, hydro, photovoltaic and geothermal. To complete our Hydro & Wind team at the Morges site, we are looking for a



Head of Hydro and Wind Service (M/F) 100%



Profile

- EPFL or HES engineer with a master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent training

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position

- Mastery of hydroelectric and wind power production technologies in particular, and knowledge of other technologies in general

- Experience in team management and natural leadership

- Financial and commercial skills

- Skills in developing complex and systemic projects

- Production asset management skills

- Good knowledge of corporate governance and administration

- In-depth knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework

- Autonomy, initiative, good adaptability, efficiency and interpersonal skills


Responsibilities

- Lead and motivate your team by promoting professional fulfilment, responsibility and commitment to company projects.

- Define and implement the development and management strategy for production and flexibility assets. Ensure sustainable enhancement of the existing and future portfolio by integrating innovation to industrialise and optimise technical, economic and environmental performance.

- Propose optimisations of the existing production portfolio to ensure its productivity and long-term sustainability.

- Guarantee the completion of production, flexibility and rehabilitation projects in compliance with quality, deadlines, budget and safety requirements.

- Supervise contractual relations with service providers by defining frameworks, negotiating conditions and ensuring follow-up. Manage concession renewals and evaluate acquisition or participation opportunities in new facilities.

- Establish and monitor reporting and strategic indicators enabling control of the hydroelectric and wind energy production portfolio.

- Represent RE with stakeholders according to predefined delegations and maintain quality relationships with all key actors to ensure optimal asset management and project success.

- Ensure the best price realisation of electricity production and flexibility of managed facilities (base supply, SRI, markets, PPA, etc.).
