Sector Manager for the Stay Department of the Asylum Division Job Description Do you want to take on a challenge at the heart of public service? Ready to manage the aspects related to the reception and stay of asylum seekers in the Canton of Vaud? We are looking for a manager for our Stay Sector, capable of structuring, optimizing, and ensuring reliable processes that comply with current regulations regarding asylum seekers' stay in the Canton of Vaud, while providing clear direction to the sector. Beyond ensuring mastery and quality of processes, you will also be called upon to face new challenges and unify a team. Responsibilities Ensure the management of the Stay Sector (14 people) and the management of human and financial resources Design, implement, organize, and coordinate the stays of asylum seekers in the Canton of Vaud Execute specific tasks within the management of the Stay Sector as well as handle sensitive and/or particularly complex cases Participate in the management of the Asylum and Return Division Develop and maintain relationships internally as well as with many partners For more information, please refer to the job description by clicking here or contact Ms. X, Assistant to the Head of the Asylum and Return Division, at the higher education level (Bachelor or Master) in the field of law or a comparable qualification in management/project management or change management in law is desired Work experience of at least 10 years, preferably in the field of asylum and in a public context or 5 years in personnel management Strong knowledge of asylum and foreign law Excellent general knowledge and a strong interest in current political and economic events in Switzerland and the structure of Vaud institutions and partners Ability to cooperate, coordinate files, and capacity to network Global and analytical vision, synthesis skills, and sense of perspective, excellent command of English and any other language is welcome Clean criminal record ----------------------------- RECRUITMENT PROCESS Does this description appeal to you?
