MissionThe Academic Service of EPFL is responsible for the management and monitoring of student files, as well as teaching and assessment processes, for all levels of study at EPFL (special courses, bachelor, master, and continuing education). Under the direction of the Associate Vice-Presidency for bachelor and master programs, this management is carried out in close collaboration with the Faculties and Colleges of our School, as well as with the Vice-Presidency in charge of doctoral programs and excellence and the dynamism X just like X dimension of our faculty and students, we face significant challenges to ensure efficient, coherent, and quality study management.Main tasks and responsibilities- Lead a service composed of about thirty specialists (human resources, budgets, logistics).- Responsible for all processes related to study management (management of files, control of transcripts, and diplomas) for all levels of study.- Ensure compliance of procedures and decisions with the regulatory framework and principles of equal treatment.- Contribute to technological monitoring projects and systems from a continuous quality improvement perspective of the system X in relation to the evolution of the School's teachings and participate in defining the analyses and necessary for steering studies.- Collaborate and actively communicate with services and faculties (sections) to align on objectives, constraints, and opportunities related to university-level studies (or equivalent).- Confirmed experience of at least 5 years in leading a complex unit.- Capable of federating and animating a team around common objectives.- Experience in managing large-scale projects involving multidisciplinary teams.- Excellent knowledge of the academic environment.- Solid culture of quality.- Strong sense of public service and teamwork.- Aptitudes to understand and synthesize complex systems.- Excellent command of French and English (C1 level); German is an asset.
