This role is aimed at a hands-on professional, close to their teams, wishing to invest in a genuine development project. Leading the catering activities, you will play a central role in operational organisation, team structuring, and the evolution of the culinary offer.
Job Description
As an active Head Chef working daily in the kitchen, you will be responsible for the culinary offer of a bistronomic-style restaurant as well as the banquet activities, which represent a significant part of the establishment's business. A true hands-on person, you will be present alongside your teams to ensure the quality of services, smooth operations, and the proper running of services. In direct contact with management and leading your brigade, you will support the teams in a dynamic of change and contribute to developing a shared culture focused on quality, rigour, and operational efficiency. As the guardian of the establishment's culinary identity, you will actively participate in evolving the offer by developing a convivial, generous, and accessible brasserie cuisine, while respecting the venue's DNA and the defined objectives. As a proactive contributor, you will help structure processes, optimise organisation, and develop activities.
Profile Sought
With a solid initial training in cooking, your career has allowed you to successfully hold the position of Head Chef for several years in recognised establishments, both in traditional catering and in the banquet and event sectors. Comfortable with large production volumes as well as "à la carte / à la minute" service, you are above all a hands-on professional, passionate about your craft and quality-oriented. A recognised manager, you know how to unite your teams, support change, and establish constructive collaboration between different activity areas. Organised, pragmatic, and results-oriented, you easily combine culinary creativity, operational excellence, and cost control. Your leadership, organisational skills, and operational presence enable you to mobilise your teams around ambitious goals while maintaining a positive and supportive working atmosphere. Comfortable with common IT tools, management indicators, and hygiene and food safety standards, you also possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a genuine sensitivity to business development.
