The Cultural Service (SEC) is the contact point for artists and cultural institutions in the fields of performing, visual, and digital arts. Its main missions are supporting creation and managing municipal cultural venues. It develops partnerships at regional levels. To complete its team, the SEC is looking for a:Grant and Event Manager at 70%Your mission and responsibilities- Ensure the management and monitoring of support grants. Control the compliance of support requests.- Organize support grant commission meetings, juries, and competitions.- Also ensure the administrative and accounting follow-up of grant decisions.- Assist cultural advisors in the development and monitoring of specific projects and collaborate on service activities.- Assist managers in monitoring the budget.Profile- Hold a commercial professional qualification or a title deemed equivalent.- Perfectly master the French language orally and in writing, including note-taking and drafting minutes.- Be comfortable with numbers and master office tools (Office suite).- Have good knowledge of the regional performing arts scene.- Know how to work in a team and independently, and demonstrate initiative and rigor.- Accept working irregular hours (evenings, weekends, and public holidays).Conditions and registration procedureRegistration deadline:Start date: to be agreedJob classification: Class H of the salary scaleThe application file must contain the following elements:- Cover letter;- Curriculum vitae or, failing that, a completed job application form (to be downloaded from our website);- Copies of diplomas and work certificates.For the City of Geneva, the recruitment process is decentralized.
