The Global Launch and Commercial Operations Lead is a key senior contributor responsible for overseeing the complete governance, preparedness, and execution excellence of Biogen’s worldwide commercial launch of zorevunersen, a potentially groundbreaking therapy for Dravet syndrome.
This role involves leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams to create and implement comprehensive launch strategies, provide updates on launch progress to leadership, and develop organizational capabilities through innovative methods and tools. The goal is to maximize launch excellence across teams, thereby enhancing and expediting decision-making.
Additionally, the role portrays pivotal responsibilities in designing and executing initiatives that engage external stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers. This collaboration with functional partners aims to amplify launch effectiveness and guide strategic choices.

Coordinate launch execution on both global and local scales, integrating customer and market intelligence into decision-making.

Ensure operational rigor in developing integrated launch plans, maintaining clarity regarding roles and responsibilities.
Manage critical launch stages, readiness milestones, and governance discussions.
Monitor post-launch performance and modify strategies as necessary.
Identify risks in strategy and execution, addressing them promptly with leadership.
Establish success metrics, including adoption rates, market share development, and ROI on launch investments.

Experience in global marketing, brand leadership, and commercial strategy within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector is essential, along with familiarity in pre-launch and early launch phases, particularly in rare diseases.
