Fixed-Term Contract First Job - Network AdministratorThe Cadastre and Smart Technologies unit (management of geolocated data and GIS) collects, analyzes, and shares geographic and multi-fluid data related to various construction sites impacting the subsoil throughout the canton of Geneva. We offer you the opportunity to join the Network Cadastre unit and have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and share geographic data related to the unit's construction sites.Your energy at the service of a sustainable GenevaAs part of your role, you will be in charge of:- Having responsibility for simple construction sites and ensuring their monitoring;- Guaranteeing precise and complete field surveys of all types of networks according to the unit's system procedures;- Updating network objects in accordance with field surveys, according to the entry rules and readability criteria of the system, both in the field and in the office;- Using the mobile drawing interface for all types of networks;- Participating in surveyor work ordered internally by engineering;- Participating in the efficiency of your unit and contributing to the proper functioning of the system.Your personality and your skillsEndowed with a keen sense of interpersonal skills, you know how to establish a climate of trust, show tact, and maintain relationships. A good communicator, you express yourself clearly and know how to transmit and popularize technical processes to your partners and clients as well as explain them to your colleagues. Your mastery of survey techniques - notably the use of geodesy instruments - is accompanied by excellent knowledge of cartographic tools such as ArcGIS Pro, and you finally have a very good understanding of IT environments.Academic background:- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) in geomatics or equivalent.The salary will be calculated on the basis of a reference annual salary of CHF [Amount removed] gross (100% base) distributed over thirteen salaries.SIG regularly welcomes young graduates to offer them a first professional experience within the framework of a fixed-term contract of one year.
