SFFN106 Wildlife, Forests and (Forester-logger, team leader SFFN106 Wildlife, Forests and (SFFN) The SFFN acts in favor of sustainable management of spaces. It is responsible, in a coordinated manner, for wildlife, forests, and the management of renewable resources, supporting the authorities for those under its responsibility. Your missions You actively participate in the sustainable maintenance of forests as well as in the management of forest environments and infrastructures. On a daily basis, you apply precision forestry aimed at preserving and promoting the multifunctionality of forests. Leading the forestry team in the Neuchâtel Mountains, you ensure their organization and proper functioning. You also support apprentices in their learning by participating in their training on the ground. Committed alongside your colleagues, you contribute to the maintenance of a work environment where efficiency and safety align. Benefiting from a vocational certificate as a forester-logger and confirmed experience in the forest, you have good knowledge of forestry in the canton of Neuchâtel and wish to invest concretely in its implementation on the ground. Experience in leading teams and managing forestry projects is an asset for this position. Holding a supervisor certification as a forester, team leader, or willing to take this certification, you demonstrate a strong interest in the training of apprentices and are comfortable in knowledge transmission. Valued for your team spirit, you easily integrate into a collaborative environment and demonstrate dynamism and commitment in your daily activities. You have good physical condition and enjoy outdoor work. You have a category B driving license, ideally complemented by a BE trailer license.
