Basic Function

Ensure the installation of new lifts in existing buildings in the Lausanne region.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and transport materials to storage or work areas
  • Distribute the various components of the lift to the lift shaft according to the installation phases
  • Carry out a complete inventory and check of the necessary work tools and safety equipment
  • Assemble the various constituent elements of the lift according to FIM
  • Manage the allocated site times according to the installations
  • Perform the mechanical assembly of the lift components in accordance with the assembly manual
  • Carry out electrical wiring (connections and wiring of electronic components) following safety rules and the assembly manual
  • Put a device into inspection
  • Inform management of the progress of installation stages and any issues encountered on site (tools, products, safety, etc.)
  • Commission new devices

Others

  • Ensure compliance with the company absolutes (safety, quality, ethics) and all current policies, procedures, rules, standards and fundamentals
  • Guarantee the confidentiality of the information provided
  • Right and duty to say Stop if safety is not controlled (Stop Work Activity)

Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge

  • Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a mechanic, mechatronics technician, polymechanic or locksmith-constructor or equivalent, ideally with several years of experience in the lift industry. It is essential that the employee resides in the work region
  • French language is essential, knowledge of English is an asset
  • A valid driving licence for Switzerland is required
