Financial ManagerJob DescriptionThe Directorate General for Employment and the Labor Market (DGEM) is looking for a financial manager (analysis/control) to strengthen its Finance and Support Unit. This cross-functional role acts as a pivot point between the scopes of funding related to the cantonal unemployment insurance (ACV) and the execution costs of the Unemployment Insurance Act (IFE) and labor market measures (MMT), with a role as an analytical interface and data manager. This key role aims to support the quality of financial management, contribute to the reliability of internal processes, and improve data readability as well as data reporting in support of the manager. Then join us without delay!For further information, please consult the job description by clicking here.Responsibilities- Analyze, consolidate, and manage financial data from the ACV, IFE, and MMT domains, and produce reliable dashboards for management.- Manage budgets (ACV, IFE, MMT), in collaboration with financial managers and the accounting manager, participate in financial projections, and ensure the consistency of transmitted data.- Ensure the management of audit follow-ups and reports from audit bodies (ROR) by analyzing findings and preparing summaries for management.- Contribute to the reliability of financial execution, particularly through the control of certain expenses and payments related to MMT.- Contribute, in support of financial managers, to the consistency and usability of financial data transmitted by external partners, particularly in the context of ROR analyses and additional audits.- Optimize financial tools and processes, particularly cockpits, benchmarks, internal control systems (SCI), and other management tools, in connection with financial managers and the accounting manager.- Participate in cross-functional projects in financial domains and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.Profile- Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration or equivalent recognized qualification.- Confirmed experience in the fields of accounting, fiduciary services, or auditing.- Additional training related to finance or management control is an asset.- Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and SAP.- Knowledge of the functioning of the labor market and local context, as well as the social insurance system.- Sense of responsibility and public service ethics.- Analytical capacity and flexibility.- Listening skills and self-confidence, stress management, and sense of initiative.- Spirit of mutual aid and teamwork.- Analytical and synthesis skills.WHO ARE WE?Within the Directorate General for Employment and the Labor Market (DGEM), we support and assist local employment actors.Ensuring the surveillance of the labor market by protecting workers, preventing undeclared work, and ensuring the implementation of accompanying measures for the free movement of persons (ALCP) is part of our missions.
