For our location in Winterthur, we are looking for an: Expert in Energy Trading 100% (m/f/d) Your tasks: You analyze consumption and market data and analyze the Swiss regulating energy market and utilize the analyses to optimize (day-ahead and intraday) forecasts. You optimize the forecasting model regarding virtual power plants (VPP) and the active management of installations. You implement and lead these in collaboration with our service providers for the operation of the EDM, (day-ahead and intraday) and other sub-systems. You build expertise in the area of handling these processes. You take care of your work, hold a university degree (ETH/EPFL), and specialize in the field with strong skills in modeling and bring experience in forecasting for electricity consumers and producers. You transform analyses and models into practice and have in-depth knowledge of the Swiss electricity market. You understand how electricity trading markets function, speak fluent German and/or French (C1); your English is business fluent. Knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
