Job Description

We are recruiting a Microsoft and Cloud expert engineer on behalf of our client, for a permanent position directly with the client.

Your mission

Within the Infrastructure team, you play a central role in the evolution, security, and operation of the organisation's Microsoft and Cloud environments.
 

You act both as a technical expert, a reference on Microsoft technologies, and a partner to project teams to support technological transformations and ensure the availability of IT services.
 

In a context combining on-premises infrastructures, hybrid environments, and cloud services, you actively participate in defining architectures, optimising existing platforms, and introducing new technological solutions.
 

Your responsibilities

Architecture and infrastructure evolution
 

• Design and develop Microsoft and Cloud technical architectures.
• Conduct technical studies related to new business needs and assess their impact on the existing environment.
• Participate in technology choices, architectural directions, and platform evolution strategies.
• Maintain continuous monitoring of Microsoft, Cloud, and infrastructure technologies.
• Support internal teams in adopting new solutions and best practices.
   

Technical project management

• Contribute to transformation, modernisation, and infrastructure migration projects.
• Participate in analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of solutions.
• Support migration projects to hybrid or cloud environments.
• Work closely with external partners.
   

Administration and operation

• Ensure the proper functioning of Microsoft platforms and infrastructure services.
• Perform advanced administration of server and cloud environments.
• Supervise system performance, availability, and security.
• Participate in managing complex incidents and level 2 and 3 support activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational and monitoring processes.
   

Documentation

• Produce and maintain technical and operational documentation.
• Formalise operational procedures and administration standards.
• Ensure the application of best practices in operation, security, and IT service management.

Profile sought

Education

• Engineering degree or higher education considered equivalent in the IT field.

Experience

• 8-10 years of experience in Microsoft systems engineering and administration.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Cloud architectures.
• Strong practice in administering Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience with virtualised infrastructures and hybrid environments.
• Experience in advanced technical support (level 2 and 3).
  Required technical skills
• Cloud / Hybrid environments: Advanced mastery of MS Azure and the M365 suite.
• Automation and infrastructure: Proficiency in PowerShell and IaC / IaaS solutions.
• Microsoft systems: Excellent knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 11
  (industrialised deployment), Active Directory, GPO and ADFS.
• Administration tools: Mastery of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM/Intune) and the
  System Center suite (SCOM).
• IT ecosystem: Good knowledge of MS Exchange Server (2019+), Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint, PKI architectures, network protocols (TCP/IP), monitoring tools and backup solutions.
   

Languages

• Fluent French, both spoken and written. Good level of English
