Accounting firm (Geneva-Centre) owned by Norman Venture Office SA is looking for an experienced accountant (permanent contract) available immediately or by agreement, wishing to leverage their experience in administrative and accounting management within an entrepreneurial environment developing a digital approach while maintaining a close client relationship.
Your main mission: dedicated to a client portfolio, you are involved from A to Z in the accounting, administrative and payroll management of files on the Odoo and WinEur Salaires (GIT) systems.
Your training and experience:
- From a Swiss accounting firm, you manage or have managed a client portfolio of at least 25 clients;
- User of Odoo and WinEUR Salaires (GIT) is a plus;
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting firm as a mandate manager;
- Internal coordination of files;
- Rigorous management of each file;
- Good knowledge of office IT tools (MS Office – Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook) and SharePoint;
- Languages: French, English, other languages a plus
In relation to accounting obligations:
- Maintain accounts up to the closing of accounts including entry of transactions;
- Carry out interim account closures: monthly, semi-annual, or annual, in liaison with an audit body;
- Prepare financial statements;
- Create dashboards, monitor cash budget, analyse flows;
- Manage cash, securities portfolio, daily banking operations;
- Follow up invoices with clients and payments to suppliers;
- Manage banking operations.
In relation to social obligations:
- Prepare payslips (fixed, LSE, allowances…) and send elements to clients;
- Ensure administrative hiring formalities and administrative follow-up of employees: employment contract, work permits, administrative requests, leave, sick leave, work accidents, APG, working time management, salary certificates;
- Complete various monthly and annual declarations;
- Manage requests for information and possible controls from compensation funds;
In relation to tax obligations:
- Prepare tax returns (legal entities and individuals);
- Carry out monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual declarations (VAT, corporate tax, AFC);
- Prepare declarative documents for the relevant tax authorities and follow up any disputes;
- Check quarterly or semi-annual VAT declarations;
- Respond to requests for information from the AFC and VAT authorities.
In relation to client relations:
- Process invoices, outstanding amounts, reminders and disputes with clients or suppliers;
- Comply with client mandates;
- Present accounts to clients.
In relation to the team and management:
- Support other accountants in the team;
- Report technical and operational information in summary form to management;
- Conduct special assignments for management.
