For the continued development of the Valais hydroelectric power plant, we are looking for an Environmental Project Manager to start immediately or by agreement.In this role, you will work within the Engineering sector of the department.Your mission is to manage projects with environmental impacts in the context of concession applications for new or existing hydroelectric facilities, as well as projects for the remediation of hydraulic power (hydropeaking, fish passage, and sediment transport). As an environmental specialist, you will support projects from the planning phase to the implementation of environmental measures. You are a member of interdisciplinary project teams. You coordinate and accompany environmental consulting firms.Profile- Master's degree in biology, ecology, environmental sciences, or environmental engineering (EPF or HES) with in-depth knowledge of environmental impact studies (water, landscape).- Good knowledge of aquatic ecology is an asset.- Experience in water rights concession projects, hydraulic power remediation, or river restoration is an asset.- Experience in managing interdisciplinary projects.- Great interest in various topics relevant to hydroelectric projects, such as technology, legal procedures, land use planning, hydrology, and energy management.- Dynamic and flexible personality with a desire to act in a constantly evolving environment.- Ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary project groups.- German or French language with very good knowledge of the other language.Why join us?An open and dynamic team of engineers and scientists looks forward to working with you.
