Environmental Hydraulics Engineer (%)AquaVision engineering Sàrl is a consulting engineering firm based in Ecublens, active in the field of environmental hydraulics and lake and river hydraulic developments for over 20 years. Active both in Switzerland and on the market, the development of our consulting activities leads us to open a position for a junior environmental hydraulics engineer.Called upon to contribute to the growth of the company, your main tasks will consist of:- carrying out engineering work in the field of environmental hydraulics, and the development of lake shores, watercourses, and dams;- developing preliminary studies, preliminary designs, and project designs;- preparing public inquiry documents and tender documents;- performing 1D and 2D numerical calculations;- conducting field surveys and ensuring construction supervision;- writing study reports related to projects;- creating AutoCAD drawings of the planned structures;- presenting studies to clients and authorities;You will investigate and solve problems related to lake shores, watercourses, and hydraulic structures, with interaction between different fields, such as, for example, hydraulics, sediment transport, the environment, civil engineering, geotechnics, and socio-economic aspects.You are particularly motivated to develop projects that respect our environment. You are also comfortable in the field or on a construction site, and able to collaborate with the company, partner offices, and authorities.You hold a degree in the aforementioned fields. You master tools such as HEC-RAS (1D, 2D), AutoCAD, QGIS, and Python.
