Transparency of energy flows and costs is fundamental for property management. Energy controlling involves continuously analysing and monitoring energy flows and their costs in order to detect deviations and propose optimisation measures. The verified data is then used transparently in the service charge accounting. To meet the growing demand for our services, we are looking for a committed and experienced person in building technology, energy efficiency, and renewable energies.

Your tasks:

  • Operational management of energy controlling assignments using the e3m Datacenter tool
  • Configuration of energy controlling for new properties
  • Coordination and advice to clients for implementing energy monitoring
  • Creation, critical analysis, and validation of metering schemes related to HVACSE and BMS systems
  • Daily plausibility checks of meter data, alarm monitoring
  • Preparation of service charge statements
  • Assistance in the preparation of ESG reports
  • Detailed analysis of HVACSE flows through energy controlling and proposal of optimisation and energy and water saving measures
  • Ongoing liaison with clients’ operations departments and annual reporting to clients
  • Conducting technical and energy audits on site during the operational phase, identifying optimisation potentials and prioritising measures
  • Development of concrete technical recommendations aimed at optimising operations, reducing energy and water consumption, and improving system reliability

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Engineering-level education in one of the following fields: thermal engineering, energy engineering, HVACSE engineering, building automation, or data processing
  • Good knowledge of BMS system topology, especially for metering
  • Field experience, site visits during operation
  • Organisational, coordination, and project management skills
  • Native French speaker, B2 level in German is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Excel and other IT tools
  • 3 or more years of experience in an engineering office or with an operator/energy specialist
  • Experience in energy audits
  • Knowledge of programming or energy controlling software is an advantage
  • Knowledge of regulations and methods regarding service charge accounting is an advantage
