What you can contribute to
- lead, in close collaboration with healthcare system stakeholders, the areas related to standardisation within DigiHealth and the Swiss Health Data Space concerning interoperability, interfaces and transactions
- develop, submit for voting procedures and deploy new FHIR implementation guides and expand their content
- programme and establish implementation aids: validators, simulators, connectors, libraries and APIs
- support the implementation of ongoing or new health projects concerning interoperability and standardisation, following the end-to-end principle
- lead and plan long-term coordinated activities of binding standards regarding technical, syntactic and semantic interoperability, and manage the various stakeholders
- participate in drafting proposals to the Federal Council and provide information notes and internal summaries for the bodies of DigiHealth, the General Secretariat of the Federal Department of Home Affairs, the Federal Council and Parliament
What makes you unique
- university degree in medical informatics, health management or a related field
- several years of experience in the healthcare system as well as in its digitalisation and transformation, and in the field of data and standards at all levels of interoperability
- proven technical and specialised knowledge of the three levels of interoperability (technical, syntactic and semantic), especially the HL7 FHIR standard and international ontologies/classifications in healthcare
- proven knowledge in programming validators and simulators, connectors and libraries, APIs as well as terminology and FHIR servers, and in the field of standards and interoperability; familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework of the Swiss healthcare system
- ability to analyse complex issues and develop pragmatic solutions; excellent team spirit and strong interpersonal skills
- good active knowledge of two official languages and, if possible, passive knowledge of the third
