As part of your role within the establishment for minors and young adults Les Léchaires, you participate in the two missions assigned to the penitentiary service: to ensure the oversight and supervision of detained persons and, more specifically, to work on the reintegration and prevention of recidivism for minors and young adults. You are an integral part of developing the identity of a dynamic institution and work within a multidisciplinary team. You guarantee a structured and reassuring living environment for the detained persons and ensure their physical, moral, and emotional integrity. ResponsibilitiesEnsure a structured and reassuring living environment for the detained minors and young adults, particularly in the cell living units, paying special attention to their physical, moral, and emotional integrity. Actively implement individual intervention plans and daily functioning of the cell living units. Prepare and write various reports, assessments, or notices requested by management or the judicial authority. Organize individual or collective activities that meet both the interests of the detained persons and broader objectives. For a concrete idea of the activities at Les Léchaires, you can watch this video.QualificationsHolder of a diploma from a higher social school (ES), early childhood, socio-professional master, community, or a university of applied sciences (HES) in social work, or holders of a diploma from an ES or HES in nursing with at least six months of professional experience in a correctional facility or healthcare establishment, or experience with minors in a care environment or relevant qualifications. Good writing skills, mastery of standard tools, knowledge of foreign languages, strong analytical and synthesis skills, very good emotional control, and stress management capabilities. Ability to work in the field of assistance under constraint. Good mental and physical capabilities allowing adaptation to irregular hours and weekends. Our employment conditions require that you be Swiss or holder of a C permit, free of any debt collection records (a transcript from the debt collection office must be presented during the process), and your criminal record must be clean.
