Join our team!To complete its team of specialists, the School of Engineering of the HES-SO Valais-Wallis is advertising a position for its Institute of Industrial Systems:Staff member for the Earthquake Prevention Pedagogical Center (CPPS) (50%)Your mission- Participate in the development of the CPPS at the Energypolis Campus- Manage the CPPS schedule in connection with schools and first responders- Supervise visits by safety and civil protection professionals- Supervise visits by students from primary and secondary schools and the general public- Accompany, as needed, Saturday visits to the CPPS for the general public- Ensure the maintenance of equipment and the regular updating of the CPPSYour profile- Tertiary level education in the field or equivalent- Good knowledge of the operating principle of the Valais rescue system and its organization- Recognized experience in actions to ensure the safety of people, provide first aid, and save lives- Experience in education for adults and children- Strong interest in risk prevention and knowledge of the earthquake phenomenon and its consequences- Autonomy but good ability to work in a team and in connection with field partners- French or German language with excellent knowledge of the second language (English would be an additional asset)Activity rate 50%Workplace SionStart date September (to be agreed)The head of the Institute of Industrial Systems will provide, upon request, all desired information concerning the job description.
