The Early Childhood Service (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the early childhood policy of the City of Geneva by managing municipal childcare facilities and supporting the facilities it subsidizes. To complete our teams at the Monique Bauer-Laggier early childhood facility, an expanded childcare facility, we are looking for an early childhood professional at 60%.Your mission and responsibilities- Organize the reception and support of children (0 to 4 years old) while ensuring quality care in compliance with current standards.- Contribute to and ensure the implementation of the educational project of the childcare facility and the institution.- Develop and implement actions related to the educational project.- Accompany and supervise the activity of interns, apprentices, childcare assistants (ASE), and aides.- Create a group dynamic favorable to the awakening, development, and well-being of children (0 to 4 years old).- Ensure communication and the transmission of information to families.- Collaborate in the organization and facilitation of meetings and exchanges with representatives of the parents.Profile- Hold a diploma from the École Supérieure in Early Childhood Education of Geneva or Lausanne (ESEDE) or any equivalent diploma recognized by the SEFRI.- Demonstrate a team spirit, a capacity for initiative, enthusiasm, openness, and benevolence.- Demonstrate listening skills, good stress management, and ease in communication.- Justify a successful experience in early childhood of at least 2 years.Conditions and registration procedureRegistration deadline:Start date: To be agreed uponJob classification: Class I of the salary scaleThe application file must contain the following elements:- Cover letter- Curriculum vitae or, failing that, a completed Job Application form (to be downloaded from our website)- Copies of diplomas and work certificates- Recent photo (passport format)Follow-up of applicationsFor the City of Geneva, the recruitment process is decentralized.
