Dog Handler - Dog Master - Cynophile Officer (m/f/d) at 70%

                      

What you can contribute:

Carry out surveillance missions and special services

Intervene in case of alarms (assault, break-in, technical, escort, call for help, etc.)

Perform preventive checks of access, persons and belongings

De-escalate conflicts

Convey a sense of security to your peers

Working hours mainly at night (9pm to 5am), including weekends and official public holidays on a rota basis

Annual rota planning

 

 

What you bring:

Be fit for night work and agree to carry out mainly night missions with your service dog

Impeccable integrity (no criminal record, prosecutions, ADB or personal bankruptcy)

Swiss nationality, work/residence permit C or B with authorised gainful activity in Switzerland and for more than 2 years as a national of a third country outside the EU/EFTA or EU/EFTA national

Experience as a cynophile officer or in a similar role

Own a dog of a breed such as German Shepherd, Dutch, Belgian, etc., vaccinated, at least 18 months old, trained and fit for security work

Capable of passing the "dog handler" test and training within 2 months prior to employment

Capable of passing the Police "dog handler" exam within one month after employment

Ability to intervene and protect defined objectives if necessary

Category B driving licence and own motorised vehicle mandatory

 

Very good knowledge of spoken and written French

Strong sense of discipline

Excellent presentation and physical and mental resilience, very good endurance

Excellent anticipation and interpersonal skills, diplomacy and self-confidence

An hourly wage pending success in the Police dog exam

A monthly salary at 70% x 13 after passing the Police dog exam

A dog handler bonus after passing the Police dog exam
