Our client: a Documentary Credits bank (M/F) Our client: a leading bank based in Geneva, recognized for its expertise in Trade. Specialist in Documentary Credits (M/F) Mission The Senior Documentary Credits Officer manages the complete administration and proper execution of transactions related to documentary credits and similar instruments (import/export credits, incoming/outgoing documentary collections, commercial guarantees, etc.) for a portfolio of major clients. Ensure rigorous processing, within the set deadlines, of client and correspondent instructions for documentary credits and other trade instruments. Provide high-level technical support to clients, Managers, and internal specialized teams (notably the Financial Institutions division). Maintain regular, constructive, and professional communication with clients in close collaboration with Managers. Ensure clear and proactive communication, notably by keeping the sales teams informed of any changes in the clients' positions related to documentary transactions. Actively contribute to the development of service quality and the maintenance of high compliance and banking standards (Banking CFC, or equivalent). Proven experience (minimum 7 to 8 years) in documentary credits within a banking institution recognized for its expertise in Commodity Trade Finance. In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of documentary credits and good understanding of applicable rules (UCP, URC), along with the ability to prioritize and manage complex cases independently.
