PURPOSE
Aiglon College is an international boarding school based in the Swiss Alps with a worldwide reputation for providing a challenging holistic education in an inspiring setting within a safe, caring and supportive framework. The Summer Camp caters for over 500 students each summer aged 8-16 years old representing over 45 nations.
Summer Camp staff are expected to make a significant contribution to the ethos of Aiglon and the Summer Camp. The expectation is that staff will be positive and contribute enthusiastically to the work and life of the Summer Camp, creating a safe and welcoming environment for all.

MISSION
To offer Summer Camp students a creative, hands-on and inspiring approach to DJing and music production. We are looking for someone who can share their experience and offer students an engaging activity.

• Run DJ-focused social evenings in 120-minute sessions. To include:

• a live DJ set,
• mixing fundamentals: creating playlists and beat-matching tracks,
• DJ controls and effects: using EQ knobs and audio effects such as delay and reverb,
• turntable techniques: scratching and beat juggling,
• rhythm and performance skills, finger drumming and rhythm exercises,
• explanation of DJ techniques,
• supervised student interaction and hands-on practice whilst keeping the evening dynamic and engaging

• The sessions need to be fully supervised, using professional equipment in a safe and structured environment.

• The activity should provide students with a dynamic introduction to DJing, developing musical listening, rhythm and collaboration skills, creating a memorable, interactive experience that reflects both creativity and professionalism.

• You will need to be able to offer 1 evening session per week between 29th June - 27th July 2026.

OTHER TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Undertake any other tasks which may be reasonably required by the Director of Summer Camp to assist in the smooth running of the programme.
• Understand and implement all school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to the safeguarding of children and young people.
• Understand the School’s Guiding Principles and uphold the ethos of the School at all times.
