Do you want to confirm expertise in Swiss financial and regulatory law and contribute to the growth of a supervisory body in French-speaking Switzerland?
AOOS is a leading Swiss supervisory and self-regulatory organisation (OS/OAR) overseeing asset managers and trustees as well as preventing money laundering and terrorist financing (AML) with offices in Zurich, Geneva and Lugano, employing around ten specialised staff. To strengthen our Geneva office, we are looking for a:
- Legal Counsel
Your mission
- Ongoing supervision of members affiliated with the OS or OAR
- Review of audit reports (LSFin/LEFin/AML)
- Handling authority requests and member enquiries
- Various legal matters
- Interaction with the authority, members and auditors
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Swiss law or social and economic sciences with good Swiss legal and regulatory knowledge; prior audit experience is a plus
- Fluent in French and good command of English
- 4 to 6 years of prior experience in banking and financial regulation, ideally with an audit firm, bank or financial intermediary
- Proactive and dynamic
- Meticulous, with excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- "Team player", very comfortable in interpersonal contacts
- Strong writing skills
