To strengthen our educational teams across various facilities in the canton of Vaud (East, North and Lausanne regions), we are recruiting:
Social Educators.
Salary scale: 7 (this scale applies to validated prerequisites, otherwise classification is at scale -1)
Contract: Fixed-term contract (FTC - at the end of the FTC, if your profile matches, a permanent contract may be considered).
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: East region, North Vaud region or Lausanne region
Start date: as soon as possible
Your role at the heart of our mission
In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and with internal and external partners, you are a key pillar to:
Provide a safe and caring living environment for young Unaccompanied Minors.
Encourage their autonomy and social integration to prepare their future.
Support them in achieving their personal projects and their transition to independent living.
Your main responsibilities
Support young people in their daily lives, from managing routine tasks to implementing their ambitions.
Maintain a harmonious organisation within the facility, respecting legal and institutional frameworks.
Propose and lead socio-educational activities to promote their collective development.
Collaborate with a network of key partners to enrich the support provided.
Manage administrative aspects related to beneficiary follow-up.
Let’s talk about you and your skills
You hold a university degree in social education (if foreign equivalent diploma, SEFRI recognition is mandatory)
You have at least 5 years’ experience working with adolescents, ideally in an interdisciplinary context or educational apartment setting.
You are passionate about migration and supporting young people in transition.
You know the canton of Vaud and have prior professional experience in the canton.
You are proficient in English or other languages (a valuable asset!).
You are familiar with common office software and hold a driving licence.
