Service Manager (m/f/d)

For one of our public sector clients in Geneva, we are looking for a Service Manager (m/f/d) responsible for managing the Storage and Backup support services, ensuring operational quality (SLA), risk management, and stakeholder coordination in a complex environment.
Your mission
- Manage the roadmap for Storage and Backup services by identifying developments, anticipating changes, and supporting their implementation (RUN/BUILD).
- Ensure operational management of services according to ITIL best practices (incidents, changes, service levels/SLA), including coordination of complex events and incidents.
- Establish and monitor performance indicators, ensure reporting, and prepare/facilitate operational committees with users and partners.
- Guarantee the application of security processes and guidelines, conduct risk reviews, and define mitigation plans; contribute to internal and external audits.
- Keep repositories up to date (service catalogue, CMDB/configuration items) and contribute to projects impacting managed services, including evaluation and costing of solutions.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree / licence in computer science / EPF engineer or equivalent; ITIL v3 certification minimum mandatory.
- 3 years or more experience in IT product or service management, ideally in a complex or regulated environment, with participation in at least one project involving multidisciplinary teams.
- Operational mastery of ITIL practices (incidents, changes, SLA) and proven experience coordinating complex incidents/events, including operational risk management.
- Strong technological knowledge of storage and backup enabling effective communication with experts (infrastructure, equipment, security, data).
- Excellent communication in French (oral/written), service and organisational skills, ability to unite cross-functionally, structure complex information, and make decisions appropriate to the level of criticality.
