Civil and Military Security Service (SSCM)
The SSCM's mission is to implement the cantonal policy regarding population protection. It notably assumes the military administrative and logistical tasks delegated to the canton by the Confederation. Through the military district, the service ensures liaison between those subject to compulsory service and the army. It is also responsible for managing the canton’s military infrastructures and facilities.

Your missions
Join us and take on a key role combining two complementary functions, each performed equally: range chief and operations agent.
As range chief (50%), you organise the guard service on the facilities including the training of troop leaders and users. In this capacity, you post and communicate safety regulations, ensure their compliance during shooting exercises, and train users in the use of equipment. Additionally, you arrange the shooting ranges according to the needs of troops and civilians, commission signalling installations and manage them. You also oversee the maintenance of the facilities and the green spaces of the various exercise sites.
As operations agent (50%), you ensure the proper functioning of barracks and buildings, while managing housekeeping services and the maintenance of green spaces. You also participate in winter maintenance work and make premises available to various users, ensuring their availability and good condition.

Your profile
Holder of a Federal VET Diploma as an operations agent or a Federal VET Diploma related to green space management, you have at least five years of professional experience.
You hold a category B driving licence, are proficient in using various maintenance machines, especially those for green spaces, and are comfortable with their handling and routine maintenance.
Excellent physical condition is essential for daily tasks.
You have been or are currently incorporated in the army. A non-commissioned officer rank is an additional asset.
Furthermore, you must pass the Confederation’s security checks for personnel (CSP) and have a clean criminal record. In accordance with legal requirements applicable to public office holders, you must be domiciled and reside in Switzerland.
