The University of Applied Sciences and Higher School of Social Work (HESTS) is expanding its training offer and developing a new ES Social Education programme. In this context, it is advertising the position of
Programme Manager
for its ES Social Education programme (80-100%)
Your mission
Assume pedagogical, academic and organisational leadership of the programme
Take responsibility for human, financial and material resources
Contribute to the development and implementation of HESTS’s development strategy
Participate in the University’s Management Board, liaise with the General Management of HES-SO Valais-Wallis and actively collaborate with the programme managers of HESTS
Ensure the quality of services and the smooth running of the recognition process with SEFRI
Maintain relationships with professional circles and stakeholders of the programme
Carry out teaching activities
Your profile
ES degree in Social Education or equivalent, a postgraduate qualification in management would be an asset
Professional experience in the social field and in tertiary education
Proven skills in management and project management, ability to lead staff
Knowledge of social work issues and its training landscape
Ability to unite colleagues and make decisions
Communication skills, interpersonal skills and ease in a complex environment
Native French speaker with good passive knowledge of the second national language
Work rate 80-100 %
Work locations Sion and Sierre
Starting date 1 October or by agreement
