The Early Childhood Service (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the City of Geneva's policy in favour of early childhood, managing municipal childcare facilities and supporting those it subsidises. In the context of the opening of the new Victoire-Tinayre early childhood care facility at the start of the 2026 school year, we are looking for


Social Education Assistants at 80-100%




Your mission and responsibilities

- Welcome and support beneficiaries to ensure a quality service in accordance with current standards.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational actions linked to the institutional and pedagogical project of the Early Childhood Service.

- Supervise and evaluate trainees and apprentices in the social education field.

- Welcome the persons representing the children and participate in exchanges with them.

- Participate in reflection groups.

Your profile

- Hold a recognised diploma as a social education assistant.
- Demonstrate listening skills, good stress management and ease in communication.
- Show initiative and good organisational skills.
- Knowledge of English is an asset.
