Operations Manager, Transport Engineer (80-100%)
Your mission and responsibilities
- Represent the City of Geneva as the client within the Cornavin team, alongside a landscape architect and a civil engineer.
- Lead and manage the various development sectors as project manager.
- Defend the City’s interests by ensuring the quality of developments and defining appropriate implementation conditions.
- Provide professional expertise by relying on the selected consortiums of contractors, taking into account the specific challenges and constraints of public spaces.
- Ensure overall planning and supervise the phasing of all works, as an experienced project manager in mobility.
- Guarantee, together with the two other project managers, the quality of projects as well as adherence to schedules and construction costs.
Your profile
- Hold an EPF/HES engineering degree specialising in mobility and transport.
- Demonstrate solid professional experience in the development and renewal of public spaces, particularly during the execution phase of works.
- Show responsibility, responsiveness and autonomy, with the ability to take initiatives while ensuring follow-up with management.
- Demonstrate proven skills in organisation, writing, communication and team spirit, as well as ease in public contact.
- Master the French language at the level required for the position.
