Hospital Services Specialist
Within our team dedicated to the processing of hospital services, you play a central role by ensuring the precise management every day of hospital fee invoices sent by our insured clients and hospital institutions. Your goal? To guarantee rigorous processing in compliance with legal requirements, while supporting the insured at every stage of their hospital stay with clear, reliable, and caring advice.
What you do daily
You handle the coverage guarantees for LCA services. Additionally, you check the requests received from service providers and verify their compliance with legal and contractual provisions, notably regarding hospital lists, stays outside the canton, or the "ambulatory before inpatient" principle. If necessary, you request additional medical information and make decisions to grant or refuse coverage.
You also ensure reliable processing of LAMal and LCA invoices. This includes checking hospital invoices, mainly additional LCA services, entitlement to benefits according to law and contract, as well as the correct accounting of insured services.
Furthermore, you handle requests and complaints from insured clients. You respond to written requests, support and advise insured clients by phone, and provide information to both insured clients and service providers. Finally, you take charge of various administrative tasks such as accident declarations or capital payments related to semi-private/private hospitalisation.
What you bring to the team
Holder of a commercial or health-related qualification with good knowledge of pricing and medical matters, you are perfectly comfortable with common IT tools. You are bilingual French–Italian, which allows you to work easily in a multilingual environment. You demonstrate strong analytical skills that enable you to handle situations with precision and autonomy. Your attention to detail and ability to make quick decisions allow you to approach your work efficiently and confidently.
Recognised for your team spirit and respect for rules, you know how to establish smooth collaboration with your colleagues. Flexible and organised, you adapt easily to changing priorities while maintaining exemplary rigour in all your activities.
