Thanks to its 800 collaborators, the Intercantonal Hospital of Broye (HIB) provides acute care and rehabilitation services. Its ambition is to be a dynamic, innovative health institution aiming for excellence for the benefit of the Broye population. To strengthen the intensive care unit, the nursing management of HIB is looking for a:



Specialised Clinical Nurse in Intensive Care 80 to 100%



Your mission

The intensive care unit has 6 hospital beds. Its mission is to provide care for adult patients from the Broye region suffering from multiple and unstable pathologies. The service works closely with the entire hospital technical platform and institutional multidisciplinary actors. The care team consists of approximately 20 FTEs under the supervision of a specialised ICU nurse.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Practice clinical care part-time directly with patients
  • Assess and analyse complex care situations and propose necessary actions
  • Manage institutional clinical projects under the supervision of the clinical manager
  • Promote the integration of evidence-based data into clinical practice for the benefit of quality, safety and efficiency of care
  • Provide supportive and empowering clinical supervision to members of the care team
  • Contribute to the development of the team’s skills, the reorganisation of the service and support change
  • Define and monitor clinical performance indicators attributable to nursing care
  • Participate in the implementation of the institutional strategy
  • Stimulate reflection on future projects and innovation in care

Your assets

You hold a Master’s degree in Nursing Sciences and ideally a specialisation in intensive care; as well as 5 years’ experience in hospital care. Proactive by nature, your technical, organisational and interpersonal skills enable you to provide quality care. Gifted with good communication skills, you have a strong interest in quality of care and multidisciplinary collaboration. You demonstrate sociability, genuine clinical leadership and creativity. For this position, an excellent command of French (spoken and written), scientific English and computer tools is essential.
